In 2009 Roland Sarlot and Susan Eyed reversed their artistic direction with their 1000+ stage illusion show and introduced an intimate 35 seat setting "parlour show." Their inspiration was based in the late 1800's, the golden era of magic, and originally began developing the show in 2004 when Roland was House Entertainer at Miraval, one of the world's top resorts. They called this new endeavor Carnival of Illusion, a hip Vaudeville-inspired theater show which played to 62 sold-out audiences its first season.
Sarlot and Eyed are the 2009 National Recipients for "Excellence in Magic" awarded by the oldest Magic convention in the United States. They were granted "Featured Performer" status at the World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle for their 21 show run and in January 2011.
Enchanting your intellect as well as your emotions, in Carnival of Illusion Roland Sarlot and Susan Eyed remain true to their international backgrounds combined with their personal life passions to create a magical show that audiences everywhere can enjoy.
Together Sarlot and Eyed have performed over 1,000 shows all over the country, from Las Vegas to Chicago, from Philadelphia to Denver, for audiences ranging from over a thousand CitiBank employees to the wheelchair-bound patients every month for five years at the Tucson Veteran's Hospital.
