Carnival Of Illusion - Magic, Mystery & Ooh La La

Arizona to Experience More ‘Magic, Mystery and Oooh La La’

Carnival of Illusion, a Vaudeville-inspired, up-close illusion act, is preparing to kick off its ninth season in the Phoenix metro area and Tucson.

Founded by Susan Eyed and Roland Sarlot, the Carnival of Illusion is reminiscent of times when the wealthy hosted entertainers in their parlors. Venues are generally relatively small to replicate this intimate atmosphere and include the Arizona Biltmore Resort, Mesa Arts Center, Tempe Center for the Arts and the Scottish Rite Grand Parlour in Tucson.

The season starts Sept. 24 and 30 with a pair of preview shows for longtime Carnival of Illusion fans. The Sept. 24 show is sold out, but the Sept. 30 show at the Arizona Biltmore still has seats available. Ticket prices are reduced for this preview show.

Generally Carnival of Illusion performs three weekends in Phoenix and one in Tucson.

So far, three Saturday performances a month are scheduled in October and November, and other dates are scheduled every month through May, but other dates are continually added. Check the performance schedule at www.carnivalofillusion.com for details. There, you may also sign up for the Carnival of Illusion newsletter, view Frequently Asked Questions and find out more about this unique brand of illusion.

The 90-minute shows, are geared toward adults. Carnival of Illusion, made up entirely of award-winning performers Sarlot and Eyed, also tailors its shows for corporate groups, special events and more.

Individual tickets start at $35, at www.carnivalofillusion.com.
